The Bali Sea flat and orange, the coast going quiet behind you.
The north coast has no surf, so the water at six in the evening is close to still. You go out with a cool box, cut the engine, and watch the light go down behind the west of the island.
It is a very short list of things to do and that is the appeal. Couples take it on the first evening; retreat groups take it on the last.
In rainy season the cloud can close the horizon entirely. We will tell you that morning and rebook you.
